My name is Mark Lloyd and I’m a photographer and film maker, based in Washington Tyne & Wear, working all over the North East of England.
I first picked up a camera the I was ten and since then I’ve been making images that make people smile. I believe the secret of a truly magical image is the story it tells – I like to understand the story you want to tell so that I can help you tell it. Some time ago I teamed up with Steve Atkinson to launch Mission Photography Studios – our portrait and commercial photography studio in the heart of Washington.
The most exciting part of my work as a photographer is to tell a couple’s wedding story. I have had the privilege of shoot weddings at some of the North East of England’s most iconic venues. Shooting your wedding starts with an opportunity to get to know each other. I like to know what makes you tick as a couple, how and where you met, what is unique about you, your love and your life together.
My aim is to make sure that your wedding photography captures and reflects your unique personality as a couple. After we’ve met, and got to know each other, we’ll meet again for a pre-wedding shoot. This is an opportunity to really get to know each other and a chance for you to feel comfortable being in front of the camera. You’ll learn the poses that make you look your best and come away with images you can use for your save-the-date or signature frames.
